The Story: "Gus the Little Cloud"

Once, there was a small, fluffy cloud named Gus who drifted all alone in the big blue sky. Down below, he saw a field of little flowers wilting in the sun. "Oh, they look so thirsty!" he thought.

Gus wanted to help. He tried to squeeze himself as hard as he could to let out some rain, but only a tiny dribble came out. He tried puffing up his cheeks and blowing, but only a soft breeze tickled the flowers.

Just then, a big, wise gray cloud floated by. "To make rain, little one," the big cloud rumbled gently, "we all have to come together." Gus floated over and joined the big cloud and many others. All together, they shared their water droplets and turned a lovely shade of gray. Soon, a soft, happy rain began to fall, and the little flowers lifted their heads and smiled. Gus felt very proud to be part of such an important job.
